This same Nickel was selling for as HIGH as $50,000 per tonne years ago. Now it is between $9,000 and $10,500 but it is still very much higher than the so called black gold - Crude Oil - which has led to so many death and destruction of critical infrastructures in our country.
If truly Nickel has been discovered in commercial quantity in Kaduna State, Nigeria, then it is time to let crude oil take the back stage and the government too should use the opportunity to start building the agriculture sector through direct investment, not just the usual interventions.

Nickel = $9,700 per tonne
